When planning a trip to Key West, the place you choose to stay can enhance your trip or make it more challenging.  I will give you the tips you will need, to choose the best place for you.  It all depends on what you plan to do while in town.   If you want to take advantage of our downtown area including Mallory Square, Sloppy Joe's, Duval Street, The Southern Most Point, or any of our numerous museums, entertainment,  restaurants and bars, I highly recommend staying at a location in Old Town. Large Extended Family Vacation Rentals in Cocoa Beach are Cheaper than multiple hotel rooms

I have known about AirBnB and vacation rentals for a very long time, but I never used them or saw their value until recently.  Before AirBnB ever existed, my grandmother would hold large family gatherings usually at her house.  She had 6 children, their spouses and a slew of grandchildren all congregating in one place. One gathering she decided to have in Cocoa Beach and rented some connecting rooms at a beach front hotel.  It probably cost her a fortune. This Summer I was finally able to see the value. I was fortunate enough to be a part of some large group gatherings, and was amazed at how much nicer and more affordable it was for all of us to stay in one house, instead of renting multiple hotel rooms. In Cocoa Beach I stayed in 2 different houses. Both had a swimming pool and hot tub, both were one block from the beach and within walking distance to the Cocoa Beach Pier.
